SAVE 2017 - The 88th Annual Shock And Vibration Exchange
Despite the storm-torn state of host town Jacksonville, Florida undergoing restorations, the 88th Shock and Vibration Exchange carried on with its usual vivacious atmosphere. Folks flew in from all around the world to share their groundbreaking ideas on shock and vibration measurement. HI-TEST Labs did the exemplary job of planning the entire event.
While the show is a venue for researchers from around the world to publish papers and give talks, it is equally a venue for companies to showcase groundbreaking technologies and advertise services for the shock and vibration community. For the past eight years, Crystal Instruments has sponsored and attended this event. This 88th exchange was a particularly exciting year for our company to show off many of our newest capabilities, including three-axis vibration control, full experimental modal analysis, as well as general and fringe dynamic signal analysis products.
While Crystal Instruments has a wide range of product offerings, of particular interest to customers this year is the CoCo-80X handheld signal analyzer. This instrument is a powerful tool for test engineers on the go because it gives them an easy to use and intuitive method to take high fidelity measurements, review those measurements on site, and save for later processing. With a sample rate that goes just above 100kHz, this instrument is a must have for test engineers in a high stress environment like shock.
