Crystal Instruments attended the 33rd Annual Small Satellite Conference in Logan, Utah last month. The conference, held on the campus of Utah State University, is internationally recognized as the premier conference on small satellites. Attracting companies big and small, as well as university programs, the event is always a great opportunity to meet some of the brightest minds in this growing industry of small satellites.

The deployment of hardware in space presents complex challenges that push the durability of designs to the extremes. Even the smallest of satellites can be very expensive to develop, and naturally, the companies building these satellites want to ensure their survival through missions in space. As a result, many attendees stopped by the booth with great interest in smaller-footprint, low-power shakers.

Together, Crystal Instruments and Sentek Dynamics displayed a complete vibration testing system with a Spider-80X and Sentek Dynamics table-top shaker.

Overall, the conference was a success, with lots of new faces showing an interest in both Crystal Instruments and Sentek Dynamics as a solution to their testing needs. We are excited to continue attending this event year after year, and seeing first-hand, the growth of the small satellite industry.
