Crystal Instruments (CI) recently attended the International Modal Analysis Conference (IMAC) held during the week of February 7–10, 2022 at the Rosen Plaza hotel in Orlando Florida. The conference was an all-around enjoyable experience, and it was good to be back in person to interact with and discuss the on-going work folks are pursuing in modal analysis. Three CI engineers attended as well as Mark Holland from Sentek Dynamics. This was Mark’s first time attending the show. Although it was not an ‘extra-large’ conference as the XL might lead one to believe, it was a significant conference as it was the 40th conference the Society for Experimental Mechanics (SEM) has held.
CI is pleased to be a contributing supporter and sponsor of the conference and has been for the past 10 years. CI looks forward to continuing that support for years to come. We would encourage anyone working in the field of modal analysis to consider attending the conference. IMAC offers something for everyone from those just beginning to work in the field of structural dynamics to those who have practiced for years.
