On October 27-29, 2014 James Zhuge, President & CEO of Crystal Instruments attended the 2014 Aerospace Testing and Industrial Control Show in Moscow, Russia. The Spider-80X vibration controller and the CoCo-80 dynamic signal analyzer were shown together with shaker systems from Sentek Dynamics at the DiPaul booth. The products were well received. A sales engineer from DiPaul gave an interesting product demo by playing music from his iPhone through a Sentek shaker. Attendees heard hip hop music when walking by the booth and found out that this high quality sound system, i.e., the ED shaker with low harmonic distortion, may cost hundreds of thousands of dollars! The Black Box mode capability of the Spider-80X system proved to be very convenient for setting up the demonstration. Attendees were surprised and intrigued to see that Crystal Instruments' vibration controller can operate on the shaker while the controller is not even connected to a PC.
