VIB-103 Vibration Force Limiting Satellites (January 2025)
Kannapolis, North Carolina - January 2025
Overview: Test a real CubeSat using NASA-7004C guidelines to design and run a force limiting vibration test. Instrument with accelerometers and force sensors, learn best practices for installation, force summing and limiting. During operation compare acceleration with and without force limiting. Learn advantages and limitations of notching using predictive sine, summed force, root square summing (RSS) vector, and overturning moment. Learn how to optimize displays and use unique visualization to see the mode shape in real time. Automatically generate report to document the testing when the test is completed. Post process data including time data and export to various formats.
