EDM 11.0 Release
We are excited to announce the release of the newest version of our Engineering Data Management (EDM) software, version 11.0. This update is packed with new features and improvements that we are confident will enhance your experience with our product.
The highlights of the release include:
Test Group: This new feature allows users to organize tests into groups for easier configuration and status tracking. Each Test Group contains a list of tests to run. A test can be listed multiple times in a group to show that it will be performed multiple times during the workflow. Users can create, edit, and remove tests from a group. Sections can be configured and work like sub-groups in a test group. Sections can contain lists of vibration tests in the X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis. The status and last run time of each test is displayed to provide current progress information and allows users to easily resume operation after interruption.
All tests in a group share the same input channels and shaker parameters, so edits can be applied to all tests in the same group.
Report Builder: The new Report Builder feature enables users to further customize reports to suit their specific requirements. Users can change the order of report items. A test run is defined as a test starting and ending according to a complete schedule or test abort. All data saved in a test run can be added to a report by selecting “Report this Run”, which allows users to preview and use a preset report template. Test configurations can be included in the “Report this Run” or with any report generation command.
Signal Selection Redesign: The Signal Selection feature has been redesigned to feature a more intuitive and easier-to-use interface. Users can select signals from the left signal panel and from the Signal Selection Window, which organizes signals into Channel signals, Other signals, and Tolerances. This window can filter signals by live signals, saved signals, all signals, or a keyword in the signal name. The display window updates immediately when the selection changes. Signal sections can be rotated with the given size to be shown.
Transducer Calibration Software: This new feature provides an intuitive interface for users to calibrate a transducer. Users can save and reuse the configuration of a calibration test to consecutively calibrate many transducers.
We believe these new features will greatly improve the functionality and user experience of EDM software. We highly recommend all our users to upgrade to the latest version.
